A Dutch kinetic sculptor, Theo Jansen has taken a scientific approach to his art form, which relies on engineering and the evolution of design. The complexity of his creations is immense, and with so many movable parts it is almost inconceivable that they could be powered by the wind. The videos are amazing in themselves.
